We are proud to confirm the successful completion of another large project for Laing O’Rourke – global construction leaders, ranked the 8th in the top 10 construction companies in the world. The Post Building (the former Royal Mail Sorting Office) is a huge site, with combined residential and commercial use, located on New Oxford St in Central London which forms 263,000 sq ft of flexible Grade A office space, 126,000 sq ft pre-leased to McKinsey & Company, 49,000 sq ft under offer, 88,000 sq ft remaining. This building is located at London’s great crossroads, in between routes going north to south and east to west.
We were contracted to carry out Builders and Sparkle clean which also included facade cleaning. The initial project was scheduled for H1 2018. Our works commenced in November 2018 and we have now completed the contract with amazing feedback and a happy client. Our cleaners worked very hard in order for us to meet our client’s handover dates. Our flexibility throughout the works was instrumental to our success.
This project was a very important project for us, located at such an iconic site just off Oxford St in central London. We have worked with Laing O’Rourke previously at the Hinkley Point power plant in Somerset and have had a very positive experience with them on both projects.
We are currently tendering for future opportunities and look forward to continuing to work with them on other equally exciting projects.
