Training & Accreditations

ISO 45001 is the most thorough and extensive Health and Safety certification programme available and BRS achieved ISO 45001 certification in 2023. This achievement demonstrates our conformance to even the highest of Health and Safety standards.

All of our teams receive training in Health & Safety prior to being deployed to any site.

All of our operatives are CSCS qualified and a SSSTS qualified Supervisor or SMSTS Site Manager and First Aider are present on every site.

Our cleaning operatives are COSHH trained, and we only use fully trained window cleaners for window cleaning. For high-level cleaning our operatives are IPAF qualified to operate MEWPs – cherry pickers, boom lifts, platforms, scissor lifts and cradles, and PASMA qualified to erect towers. Equipment is checked to British Standards and PAT testing is carried out as required.

BRS hold Constructionline Gold accreditation and are also accredited with CHAS, Achilles, Builders Profile and SMAS Worksafe (SSIP).

Our directors have the ultimate responsibility for Health & Safety. As such, one of our directors is our own in-house, NEBOSH qualified Health & Safety adviser who is able to respond promptly to any client requirements and to create bespoke RAMS and site specific safety manuals, supported by some of our office team who are also IOSH trained.

Environment

BRS take a responsible approach when it comes to the environment. We are proud to be ISO 14001 certified and consider it our responsibility to provide support and valuable contributions to the quality of peoples’ lives beyond the scope of our operations.

Regardless of the size of the contract, we clean all premises to the same high standard and manage the impact on the environment by using environmentally friendly cleaning products and methods.

We source all of our products from respectable companies who share our views on minimising the impact of our daily actions on the environment. All of our staff have been made aware of the environmental targets we strive to achieve and are provided with a copy of our Environment Policy and Environmental Action Plan to reduce our carbon footprint.

Quality

BRS are ISO 9001 certified. The standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and collaboration of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. Using ISO 9001 enables BRS to ensure that our clients continue to receive a consistent and high quality service. Our certification was obtained via The British Assessment Bureau, a UKAS accredited provider.
